Who ships with us

A business

A company shipping to a site or project.

You are supplying a build, a fit-out or a commercial operation, and the goods come from dozens of US vendors on nobody's schedule.

A load we have actually shipped runs to 117 things from a dozen different stores, and 304 distinct item types across five of them — which is the classification work, not the freight. What you need at the other end is a container that clears cleanly and paperwork that holds up.

Project supply is lumpy, and paperwork is the hard part

Nothing arrives for three weeks, then forty line items land in four days. The site address changes when the site does. And at the end, somebody has to produce a customs file that survives being looked at properly.

The freight is rarely the difficult bit. The difficult bit is arriving with documentation that matches what is in the container.

What we handle

03

Duty, honestly

Duty is calculated on the CIF value against Anguilla's published tariff schedule, then the 1% Customs Service Fee, then 9% import tax on the total of CIF plus duty plus that fee. It compounds; it is not a flat percentage of the goods.

Customs makes the final assessment at the border. Where their figure differs from ours you pay the actual amount, at cost, with the difference shown on your invoice. Anyone telling you their quote is the last word on what customs will decide is telling you something they cannot know.

Getting a number

Project work varies too much for a table to be honest about it. Tell us the scope — how many items, roughly what volume, and when it needs to land — and we will quote against it.

What is fixed

$595 per ViaCube — one container, at any fill level. Fill it on your own and it is yours alone; share one and you split the fee by the space you use. $8 per package received. Classification: 80 lines included, $4 each after.

30 days of free storage on every package, counted from the day it arrives, then $0.35 per cubic foot per day with a 4 cubic foot minimum per item, capped at 90 days.

Duty, import tax, the Customs Service Fee, broker clearance, port fees and island trucking are passed through at cost and itemised separately. The full breakdown is here →
