Who ships with us

My own villa

One property, yours.

You are furnishing or restocking a house in Anguilla, and the things you want are in American shops.

A load we have actually shipped runs to 117 things from a dozen different stores — tires, a step ladder, curtain rods, floor tile, dog food. One container does the work of a dozen separate deliveries, and costs less than any of them attempted alone.

A house is not a parcel problem.

Furnishing a place in Anguilla is not a series of deliveries. It is a sofa, a dining table, eight chairs, a bed, a mattress, lighting, rugs, linens, kitchen equipment and the fifty small things nobody lists until the room is nearly done — bought over weeks, from vendors who have never heard of each other.

Sent one at a time, that is a dozen freight bills and a dozen customs entries. Sent together, it is a container.

How it actually goes

We ship with Tropical Shipping, which sails to Anguilla weekly on Thursdays. Your goods need to be with us by Monday 17:00 Miami time to make that week’s boat — we pack on Tuesday and hand the cargo to Tropical on Wednesday.

What it costs

One container

$595 per ViaCube — one container, whatever the fill level. Fill it on your own and it is yours alone; share one and you split the fee by the space you use. A half-full container costs the same as a full one, which is the argument for letting things accumulate rather than sending them as they arrive.

$8 per package as it is received, checked in and recorded against your property. 80 customs line items included, then $4 each — a whole-house fit-out rarely passes eighty.

30 days of free storage on every package, counted from the day it arrives, then $0.35 per cubic foot per day with a 4 cubic foot minimum per item.

Duty, 9% import tax, the 1% Customs Service Fee, broker clearance, port fees and island trucking are passed through at cost and itemised separately. The full breakdown is here →

If you are buying for one room rather than a house, tell us anyway. Large or awkward single items — a piece of furniture that will not fit a courier, something fragile, something valuable — are worth a conversation rather than a form.

Signing up is free and takes a couple of minutes. Nothing is charged until a shipment books.
